LAMANA is a young wool and fashion label founded in 2010 in Bielefeld, Germany. We combine exclusive yarns with contemporary design.

Inspired by the love for handknitting, wool and fashion, we first specialized in premium Peruvian yarns. Meanwhile, we exclusively work with selected owner-managed wool spinning mills in Italy and Peru. In the production of our yarns we attach great importance to the origin of the wool, the breeding conditions and the further processing and dyeing of the fibers we selected. We assure our high demands on a premium LAMANA quality, sustainability and a fair production process through regular visits at our carefully selected partners on the spot.

Our collection impresses with the combination of luxurious fibers with excellent craftsmanship and ranges from delicate lace to SUPERLIGHT bulky yarns. Each quality clearly stands for itself. But we also have a weakness for the exciting multiple stranded possibilities to combine our yarns. This is reflected particularly by the diversity of our models that we design for you.

Within the LAMANA color world many of the selected shades run through our entire yarn collection. By this, countless possible combinations of harmonious color variations in a variety of yarn textures can be created.

With the LAMANA SUPERLIGHT collection we developed an extraordinary yarn selection for lightweight knits. Innovative manufacturing processes give our SUPERLIGHT yarns a unique lightness. As a result the knitted favorites weigh significantly less than usual and offer an icomparably airy wearing comfort.

But not only our yarns are an asset to DIY culture, the creation of a new design vocabulary and the exciting exchange and shared projects with other creative minds from the world of wool is very dear to us.
