Baby Balaclava (03/01)

The functional hat with an attached collar can be easily pulled over the head and is adjusted at the neck with a knitted I-Cord in contrasting color. The balaclava is suitable for babies aged 3-6 months and worked without any seams in one piece. It starts with a fine row of an accent color at the bottom border of the collar. The pattern is made of garter stitches and fine rows of simple eyelet lace-pattern that also forms the thread-through holes for the contrasting cord at the neck.

• 50 g COMO Tweed BASALT BLUE (46T)
• 25 g COMO PIGEON BLUE (36)

GAUGE
• 24 sts and 50 rows in garter st = 4“/10 cm square using 3.5 mm (US 4/UK 10 or 9) needles

NEEDLES
• Knitting needles size 3.5 mm (US 4 / UK 10 or 9), 2 dpns size 3 mm (US 2.5 / UK 11)
