Little Cardigan in Half Brioche Stitch
The little basic cardigan has a slim and short cut. It is worked bottom up in Half Brioche stitch and has high side slits in the bottom border. The button panel is knitted directly onto the garment. The front parts and the slightly longer back are knitted together creating a saddle shoulder. A small ribbed edge is knitted into the neckline. The cardigan can be easily lengthened or shortened on the body and sleeves.

• 8-9 buttons (diameter approx. 10 mm/0.4“)

GAUGE
• 22 sts and 52 rows in Half Brioche st = 4“/10 cm square using 3.5 mm (US 4/UK 9) needles

NEEDLES
• Knitting needles size 3 mm (US 2.5/UK 11) and size 3.5 mm (US 4/UK 9)
• 2 dpns 3.5 mm (US 4/UK 9)
• 1 tapestry needle

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Circumference at bust (overlapping by approx. 4 cm) = 104 (112/120/128) cm, 40 (44/47/50)“
• Back length = 52 (54/56/58) cm, 20 (21/22/23)“
• Sleeve length = 55 (56/57/58) cm, 22 (22/22/23)“
• Sleeve to underarm = 45 (46/47/48) cm, 18 (18/19/19)“
