The oversized pullover, with cable pattern, turtle neck and longer back part, is worked entirely double stranded and seamlessly top down and starts at the accentuated shoulder line (French shoulders) at the top of back part. The two front-halves are worked in opposite direction from these shoulders, are then joined together at bottom of neckline and subsequently, front is worked back and forth in pattern (same as for back part), down to bottom of armholes. Then front and back are joined together and body is worked in the round to bottom border. Back part is elongated by working short rows. Sleeves are knitted directly onto body and are also worked top down and in the round. The turtle neck is knitted on later.

• Milano 200 (225/250) g in Silk Grey 03M and Premia 125 (150/ 150) g in Muscat 47, 2 stitch markers, 1 cable needle, 1 tapestry needle

GAUGE

• 25 sts and 32 rows, using ndl size 3.5 mm (US 4/UK 10 or 9) and worked double stranded (1 strand Milano and 1 strand Premia) in main pattern = 10 x 10 cm/4“ square

NEEDLES
• circular needles size 3.25 mm (US 3/UK 10) and size 3.5 mm (US 4/UK 10 or 9) (80-100 cm/32-40“), short circular needles (40 cm/16“) or dpns size 3.25 mm (US 3/UK 10) and size 3.5 mm (US 4/UK 10 or 9)
