Sweater Kirsten (14/09)
Designed by LAMANA
The hooded sweater with a wide cable pattern on front and back side is worked seamlessly from the top down and starts at the shoulder line (French shoulder) in the upper back. The two front sides are knitted out of this shoulder line in reverse direction and connected to the back part below the armholes. The body is then worked in the round up to the bottom of the cuff.
The sleeves - except for a narrow cable pattern at the upper sleeve side and a smooth 2 knit stitches line at the lower sleeve - are worked in large moss stich throughout and knitted directly to the sweater.
The hood in stockinette stitch is knitted on afterwards. The cable pattern is available as a chart, the first rows of front and back are also described in writing.
