Headband Varmer (A01/15)

The double-layered head band with a ribbed outside and a stockinette stitch inside is worked double-stranded and bottom-up in the rib pattern first, followed by a breakline of purl stitches. The secopnd half is knitted in stockinette stitch, finally upper and lower edge are joined by three-needle technique.

SHOWN SIZE
• Height 8 cm / 3“, circumference (unstretched) 42 cm / 16.5“, suitable for Size M (54 - 57 cm / 21.5 - 22.5“)

MATERIAL
• COMO 25 g in Rose Quartz 62 and PREMIA 25 g in Rose Quartz 62, 1 wool needle (Note: The specified quantity for Lamana Como is exactly enough for the specified size/gauge. For a larger size, 50 g Como are needed.)

GAUGE
• 29 sts and 38 rows double-stranded (one strand Como and Premia each) in basic pattern 1 using needles 3.5 mm (US 4) = 10 x 10 cm / 4“ square
• 26 sts and 42 rows double-stranded (one strand Como and Premia each) in basic pattern 2 using needles 3 mm (US 2½) = 10 x 10 cm / 4“ square (To reach the given gauge, please adjust the needle size if necessary.)

NEEDLES
• Short circular knitting needles (40 cm) sizes 2.5 mm, 3 mm and 3.5 mm (US 1½, 2½ and 4)
