PREMIA is an exclusive yarn made of 60% Super Kid mohair and 40% mulberry silk. With a meterage of 300 m on 25g it is a Lace yarn. The particularly soft Super Kid mohair and the high silk content make it an incomparably soft luxury with delicate fluff and particularly noble shine. The homogeneous dying of the two fibres gives PREMIA its calm and elegant appearance.

We obtain the mohair for PREMIA from a farm project from South Africa, which acts socially responsible and actively cooperates with the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment and as a member of the MohairSouth Africa Association guarantees the strict requirements for animal welfare and sustainable environmental awareness. The spun raw wool is certified in the criteria of animal welfare, sustainability and social responsibility and we have it spun and dyed in Italy by a family-run traditional company.

PREMIA is incredibly fine and delicate and with its meterage of 300m extremely economical. It can be worked individually to wonderfully light and filigree lace scarves or double-stranded creating slightly transparent, noble garments with a magical fluff. What is more, PREMIA is also the ideal accompanying yarn for all our other qualities giving each knitting piece an extra portion of fluff and even more softness.


LAMANA color world: Due to the carefully coordinated colors, our qualities can be combined very harmoniously with each other, but also offer the possibilities of light nuances and strong contrasts.

Care: For PREMIA we recommend short and gentle hand wash as well as the use of a neutral, mild wool detergent without enzymes and plasticizers, in very low doses. Then dry the knitted piece gently lying flat and avoid direct sunlight.
