TORINO is a Bouclé  SUPERLIGHT yarn made of 80 % superfine merino wool with 18.5 microns and 20 % silk. The carded yarn with a meterage of 185 m on only 25 g (200 yd. on only 0.88 oz.) gets its unique lightness through an innovative manufacturing method by which the temperature-regulating and breathable properties are supported positively.

The mulesing-free raw merino wool for TORINO is sourced from selected Australian shepherds and the mulberry silk used comes from China. We have it spun and dyed according to the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 for baby products by a family-run traditional company in Italy.

TORINO is an exceptionally luxurious Bouclé yarn for the whole year. It feels wonderfully soft on the skin and is therefore particularly suitable for fine scarves and stoles and gives garments an incomparable lightness and a gently flowing fall.

The luxurious bouclé yarn is exceptionally versatile in this weight. Knitted with one-strand, it's perfect for delicate shawls and incomparably soft and lightweight garments and accessories for year-round wear. Worked double-stranded, TORINO is the ideal choice for designs that are warm, cozy, and whose texture makes it truly special.

LAMANA color world: Due to the carefully coordinated colors, our qualities can be combined very harmoniously with each other, but also offer the possibilities of light nuances and strong contrasts.

Care: For TORINO we recommend short and gentle hand wash as well as the use of a neutral, mild wool detergent without enzymes and plasticizers, in very low doses. Then dry the knitted piece gently lying flat and avoid direct sunlight. After washing TORINO blooms again and becomes noticeably softer, fluffier and the knitting pattern even more dense.
